WGP #4 – PORTUGUÊS
O WGP aconteceu no último sábado, dia 17/12, e foi um sucesso. Logo no início do evento, na parte não televisionada, as lutas do undercard já prometiam bom evento. Ocorreu a primeira luta feminina do WGP, com vitória de Thiara Borghardth (presente no Mundial da Macedônia) sobre Wesleana Valentin.
As duas primeiras lutas do card principal começaram mal para os capixabas. Fernando Alan venceu Douglas Pereira por pontos, e Emerson “Falcão” Vieira, que havia disputado o GP 62,3kg do WGP #2, continuou mostrando bons resultados e venceu nitidamente por pontos, com um bom jogo de pés e mãos.
Em uma das melhores lutas da noite, Marcos “Pezão” teve dificuldades para vencer a força de Edson Lima, mas o knock down que o lutador do Strike Force encaixou em Lima fez diferença no resultado final.
E o português Duba Barradas já entrou no ringue fazendo um show. Depois de fazer uma bela entrada com as ring girls, Barradas ganhou de Jorge Daniel em uma luta bem disputada, desferindo bons golpes no carioca.
Já Luciano Ghandi não deu chance para Fabiano Antonio “Mineiro”. Lutando com a guarda baixa, o capixaba conseguiu encaixar quatro knock downs, acabando a luta no terceiro round e merecendo o título brasileiro Low Kicks 71,8kg.
Na penúltima luta do WGP #4, Gilmar de Andrade e Marcio Cutrin Couto não protagonizaram um bom combate. Os atletas não começaram bem, e não encaixaram bem seus golpes, culminando no empate.
Finalizando o evento em Vitória, o brasileiro Amilcar da Fonseca culminou a noite de lutas atropelando Marcelo Mendieta. O argentino aguentou bem o forte volume do brasileiro, mas Amilcar venceu a luta pelo título panamericano Low Kicks 62,3kg.
WGP #4 – INGLÊS
WGP happened last 17th Saturday and it was a success. Early in the event, in the non-televised undercard, the undercard fights promised a good event. It occurred the first WGP female fight with the victory of Thiara Borghardth (she fought in Macedonia World Championship).
The two first fights at the main card started bad for Espirito Santo state. Fernando Alan beat Douglas Pereira by points, and Emerson “Falcão” Vieira, who had played the WGP`s GP of 62,3kg, continued to show good results and won clearly by points, with a good set of hands and feet.
In one of the best fights of the night, Marcos “Pezão” has struggled to overcome the force of Edson lima, but the knock down that the Strike Force fighter hit made a difference in the final result.
And the portuguese Duba Barradas has entered the ring doing a show. After making an entry with the ring girls, Barradas beat Jorge Daniel in a very disputed fight, striking good punches in the athlete from Rio de Janeiro.
Luciano Ghandi didn`t give a chance for Fabiano Antonio “Mineiro”. Fighting with its guard down, the fighter from Espirito Santo managed to strike four knock downs, ending the fight in the third round and earning the Brazilian title of Low Kicks 71,8kg.
On the penultimate fight of WGP #4, Gilmar de Andrade and Marcio Cutrin Couto didn`t perform a good fight. The athletes didn`t start well and didn`t strike good moves, culminating in a tie.
Finishing this event in Vitoria, Brazilian Amilcar da Fonseca ended the night running over Marcelo Mendieta. The Argentinian withstood the heavy volume of punches, but Amilcar won the Pan American title of Low Kicks 62,3kg.
Título Panamericano – PORTUGUÊS
No dia 15/12, em Sergipe, ocorreu a disputa do Título Panamericano de Full Contact 54,5kg na cidade de Aracaju. Quem disputou foram o brasileiro Cledevaldo Falcão e o argentino Frederico Gentilguono, em um combate que foi até o décimo round.
Todos os rounds foram muitos acirrados, com bons golpes vindos de ambos os lados mas, ao final, o lutador que além de ser brasileiro, é sergipano, venceu por pontos Gentilguono, tornando-se o novo campeão.
Título Panamericano – INGLÊS
On 15th December, at the state of Sergipe, it occurred the dispute of the Pan-American Full Contact 54,5kg Title in the city of Aracaju. Brazilian Cledevaldo “Falcão” and the Argentine Frederico Gentilguono disputed, in a fight that went to the tenth round.
All rounds were very tight, with good strikes from both sides but in the end, Falcão, who was born in Sergipe, won by points the Argentine, becoming the new champ
