Re: Change of name from “ Semi Contact ” to “ Point Fighting ” style
Dear WAKO members,
During the last few months WAKO Board of Directors, together with WAKO technical Committee, had been reviewing the rules and regulations applied in WAKO different styles.
We are now pleased to confirm you that WAKO Board of Directors, in ocassion of the last meeting held in Bratislava on September 9th, 2012, have adopted the new name of “ Point Fighting ” for “ Semi Contact ” style with immediate effect. Rules and regulations for Point Fighting style remain exactly the same as applied in Semi Contact and there’s not other change in any matter except for the name.
Accordingly, from September 9th, 2012, we will use the name “ Point Fighting ” in all WAKO competitions.
ATTENTION:
Fore registration online to European Championships in Bucharest, Romania (24 Nov.-2 Dec.),
at www.easy-registration.de you will find PF as “POINT FIGHTING” instead of SC (Semi Contact).
