Social responsibility in practice #WhiteCard

September 9, 2017

Kickboxing in the World Games was a success for WAKO.
The equipment partner for Kickboxing in the World Games was Top Ten and together it is decided that the equipment will be donated to a social project in Madagascar.
WAKO and Peace and Sport became partners in 2016 since President Borislav Pelevic signed an MOU with this important organization.

In 2016, Peace and Sport became partners with an NGO called, Pachamama, based in Madagascar, and founded by Jean-François Tordo, who is a Champion for Peace and previously the captain for the French Rugby National Team. WAKO plan to engage in this project and we start by distributing our equipment.

For WAKO it is important to think and act how our sport can make a difference in various societies. WAKO will engage and it was easy for Top Ten to engage accordingly.
We think that investing in youth and children is important and our resason to join Peace and Sport is to try to do our share to create peace and better conditions for those youth who need it desparately.
