Senior World Championships officially started in Guaruja’ (Brasil)

October 1, 2013

The World Championships in Low-Kick and K1-Rules have started in a successful way in Guaruja (Sao Paulo), Brazil. The facilities at Casa Grande Hotel and Resort are amazing situated next to the beautiful beach of Guaruja. The convention area at the Hotel and the setup is very nice hosting in total 47 countries and 413 athletes from 5 continents in these two disciplines alone. Not to say we see the level of the fighters are fantastic already and the next 5 days will be really interesting to follow.

Yesterday Nasser Nassiri and me visited the Mayor of Guaruja, Maria Antonieta in the morning, a huge honour for us as she really have supported our promoter Paulo Zorello in preparing this Championship.
At lunch we had a gathering of national Presidents at the beach of Guarujua enjoying the nice atmosphere.
