The annual seminar for the kickboxing coaching staff of Estonia was held from August 1-2, 2020
Coaches from all over the major Estonian kickboxing clubs attended the seminar.
The seminar program was focused on safety rules, the development of the basic and advanced techniques of different kickboxing styles, also new rules, error detection, nutrition, hygiene, planning related activities and other topics.
A special focus was given to issues of anti-doping and ethics in sports.
Mr. Henn Vallimäe (PhD), CEO of Estonian Anti-Doping Agency (EADA) made extensive presentation on promotion of healthy and fair sport, carrying out and organizing doping testing for the training purposes, familiarized the participants of the seminar with anti-doping education resources and gave overview of development of international anti-doping cooperation.
As the revised WADA Code is set to come into force on 1 January 2021, Mr. Henn Vallimäe also explained the principles, standards and new changes.
