WAKO World Championship for Seniors and Master class was held in Jesolo Lido (VE), Italy, from 14-25th October 2021.

With participation of 65 countries and total entries 1536 competitors, Jesolo was once again the epicenter of kickboxing of the world.
Under the supervision of the WAKO Medical Committee who had prepared all protocols for the massive sport gathering after a long previous year, the event was a clear success.

Despite the fact that participants were obliged to act diferrently comparing to the previous period due to the Covid, obliged to collect so much new safety documents, to register on RSportz platform as the new mandatory condition, there was the new registration and accreditation system for the first time used at WAKO championships, it can be said that everything was ended succesfully.

This Championship was the Eliminator event for the upcoming The World Games 2022, the very highest platform our sport currently has to offer to our athletes and federations. WAKO was excited to enable our kickboxers to showcase the beauty and brilliance of the sport of Kickboxing on a truly global stage.

Fantastic opening ceremony and great event created new great memories for sure.
