World Championships in Belgrade (Serbia), 24th October-1st November 2015

This year, the host country of the twentieth anniversary of the World Championship in kickboxing is Serbia. It is an event of national importance, supported by the Serbian Government, Ministry of Sports, the Sports Federation of Serbia and the City Secretariat for Sport. Technical organization leads Kickboxing Association of Serbia.

Kickboxing Association Serbia is a member of world WAKO Federation.
Kickboxing has seven competitive disciplines three of which are taking place in the ring: low kick, K-1, full contact, as well as four events taking place on the tatami: light contact, point fighting, kickboxing light contact and musical forms (with and without weapons).

It is estimated that in so far held 19th World Championships attended by over 20,000 athletes.
On planetary festivals representatives had more than 50 countries from all continents.

Belgrade will host this year over 2000 participants from over 60 countries.

Kickboxing is an extremely popular sport in the world both for practitioners and for the audience. Attractive technique, precision and powerful kicks and atmosphere of heated passions of fans present in the halls where matches are held, always attracts the attention of real sports fans.
