We had over 500 participants and Turkish Kickboxing Federation proved it’s high level once again with this championships. The event was organized with cooperation and patronage of Turkish University Sports Federation and this is very important both for us and for WAKO since Turkish University Sports Federation is a FISU member federation. Now only a few WAKO member federations are organizing Univesrity Championships and I hope this number will increase so that WAKO can get closer to it’s objective to become a FISU member sport and become a part of Universiade.”
