With pride WAKO can finally announce that kickboxing qualification is finished for second edition of Sportaccord World Combat Games, St. Petersburg (Russia) – 18th to 28th October 2013. We have had qualifications during the following 2012 Continental Championships:
Europe: Ankara (Turkey) and Bucharest (Romania)
Africa: Antananarivo (Madagascar)
PanAmerica: Fos do Iguassu (Brazil)
Asia/Oceania: Pune (India)
All in all 78 countries have participated in the qualification and 96 athletes coming from 35 different countries from all around the world are ready to go for Gold in St. Petersburg!
WAKO congratulate all qualified athletes and their teams. But we also salute, congratulate and honour all participating athletes and countries for their enthusiasm, sportsmanship and respect.2012 has been a year packed with action, not to forget a fantastic Cadets and Junior World Championships in Bratislava, Slovakya, with more than 2.200 people involved. For WAKO the Sportaccord World Combat Games and the Asian Indoor and Martial Art Games in 2013 will be a special highlight. A huge congratulation also to all promoters that have given it all to produce our 1st class events.
