The WAKO kickboxing tournament saw many celebrities during the two days’ competitions. And that’s also the proof of our success.

Among them, we had the pleasure to host Mr. Hein Verbruggen, Sportaccord president, and the highest Beijing authorities, respectively the Mayor and the Vice-Mayor of Beijing Municipality who were actually the promoters of the first World Combat Games (in the picture with president Ennio Falsoni), then member of the political buro of the Government of China.

We had also the pleasure of hosting Her Highness the Princess of Dubai, the daughter of Sheikh Al-Maktoum, herself a valid athlete in Taekwondo, who remained for many hours in the sport-hall to watch our best fighters performing.

Mr. Antonio Espinos, president of World Karate Federation, who also officiated also in the award ceremony in our event.

Mr. Jae Youl Kim, the son ot the Samsung industries’ founder, who came to watch kickboxing with Mr. Hein verbruggen, being one of the sponsors of the World Combat Games.

Mr. Don “The Dragon” Wilson, in his capacity of ‘kickboxing ambassador’, of course, who liked the fighters very much and kept on commentating each single match in the ring.

And many other celebrities, of course, together with many WAKO national federations’ presidents. We want to mention one in particular: Mr. Yuri Ryndin, president of Russian Kickboxing Federation, and CEO of the most important gold industry in his country.
