Chinese Taipei to Host the World Combat Games 2019

An official signing took place with representatives of the Chinese Taipei government and National Olympic Committee to host the 2019 World Combat Games.
The contract was signed by representatives of the Chinese Taipei government, Director General of Sports Administration, Ministry of Education Lin Te-Fu and Director of International and Cross-Strait Sports Division Maggie Hsu.

The GAISF Council approved the MOU which was then followed by the signing. GAISF President, Mr. Patrick Baumann counter signed together with GAISF Vice President and Chairman of the GAISF Combat Commission, Mr. Stephan Fox

The announcement was made at the GAISF briefing in front of the 92 GAISF member federations. The combat meeting has already been scheduled.

There is not clarity yet when the Games are scheduled nor the conditions for each of the Federations. WAKO will come back with specific information about disciplines, weight-categories, qualification, qouta etc.
