After our message about the recognition by the IOC WAKO has been overloaded with congratulations and wishes from all over the world. However, this congratulations message received from young boys at Zaatary camp in Jordan means a lot for us.
This is what sport is about and it is with great pride to see children and youth who can practice our great sport as a tool to create peace, harmony and friendship.
Sport has no borders and our Live Together Programme in this Syrian refugee camp is exactly what sport is about. We give these boys hope, pride and confidence and we are truly grateful to our coach Ali Hussein Alkhadi.
