Mr. Espen Lund, a WAKO’s vice-president, met recently IOC member in Oslo.
Gerhard Heiberg is a member of IOC Executive Committee and the Chairman of the IOC Marketing Commission. He is also well known in martial art sports in general and has been working a lot with AIBA for may years now and at the moment he is the Chairman of AIBA Reform Commission.
Espen Lund met him in Oslo and introduced him WAKO kickcboxing.
Mr. Heiberg was quite well impressed about the development of our organization in the world and gave Mr. Lund a lot of ideas about what to do next in order to apply one day to IOC.
As usual, it is a long way to Tipperary, but WAKO people never give up.
