EXTRAORDINARY EUROPEANS IN PULA

September 28, 2009

Historical Pula hosted our 2009 European Cadet & Junior Championships, promoted by Croatian Kickboxing Federation with the support of local Municipality and Sport Authorities. The 1071 competitors which took part in the Championships in representation of 30 countries enjoyed a fantastic weather condition (sunny the whole week!) and the superb natural environment of the Istria region.

The above mentioned figures talk by themselves: they are amazing numbers which confirm the continuous growth of our organization. We have to say that also the technical level of our young competitors is improving year after year and that is the most extraordinary news.

If Pula was another great success, it is also thank to the excellent job the Croatian Kickboxing Federation leaders and their staff did during last week. Bravo!

WAKO is now facing the busiest part of its sport year: in 3 weeks time we will be in Villach for the first part of our World Championships; immediately after we will have all Asian countries engaged in Asian Indoor Games by OCA in Vietnam that will lead, immediately after, to the second and last part of our World Championships in Lignano Sabbiadoro (Italy).

Have a great time and enjoy!
