In Memoriam: Marco Pacor

May 26, 2022

Today a great man, a great professional, master in refereeing in the ring, our respectable Marco Pacor (51), have passed away.

He was a respectable ring referee and  his contribution to the development of kickboxing under WAKO as an Olympic recognized sport is immeasurable.

He was a real point of reference for the refereeing class both nationally and internationally. He was respected among the judges, a true professional in his work, dignified and dedicated to his work, a man we trusted.

Marco was one of the best judges and referees we have had in ring sports, passionate about justice and always taking care of the athletes.

WAKO President Roy Baker said:

“ Today we lost one of the most genuine , hardworking, passionate and capable persons in the WAKO family, he absolutely loved this sport , he fought his illness with  a smile and positive outlook on life. Dear Marco Pacor, we will miss you more than you will ever know. My sincere thoughts and prayers go to his family and friends in Italy and through out the world, he was genuinely unique. Rest in peace my Friend, you inspired us by your passion and commitment to life, family and sport.”

WAKO will always keep in memory Marco as a sincere friend, a great example of dignity, courage and resilience, despite the difficulties of life he faced.

Rest In Peace.
