We are pleased to announce that the revised World Anti-Doping Code (Code), unanimously approved by the WADA Foundation Board on November 17, 2007, and effective as of January 1, 2009, is now available for downloading and printing at http://www.wada-ama.org/en/dynamic.ch2?pageCategory.id=735 .
The revised Code is based on an extensive review and consultation with all stakeholders and takes into account the experience that WADA and stakeholders have had since the initial implementation of the Code in 2004. The result is a stronger Code that is both firm and fair that serves as an effective and practical tool in the fight against doping in sport.
A complementary bound copy of the revised Code will be mailed to stakeholders in the coming weeks. Additional copies may be ordered by contacting code@wada-ama.org . (Please note that there is a printing and shipping fee associated.)
Signatories to the Code are required to have implemented the revised Code by the January 2009 effective date. Should you have questions about how to achieve implementation of the revised Code, please contact code@wada-ama.org .

The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) is the international independent organization created in 1999 to promote, coordinate and monitor the fight against doping in sport in all its forms. The Agency is composed and funded equally by the sports movement and governments of the world. Its key activities include scientific research, education, out-of-competition testing, development of anti-doping capacities and monitoring of the World Anti-Doping Code – the first document harmonizing regulations regarding anti-doping in all sports and all countries.

Nous sommes heureux de vous aviser que le Code mondial antidopage révisé, approuvé à l’unanimité par le Conseil de fondation de l’AMA le 17 novembre 2007 et qui entrera en vigueur le 1er janvier 2009, peut maintenant être téléchargé et imprimé à partir du site http://www.wada-ama.org/fr/dynamic.ch2?pageCategory.id=735 .
Le Code révisé fait suite à un vaste processus de consultation des partenaires et tient compte de l’expérience accumulée par l’AMA et tous les partenaires depuis la mise en place initiale du Code en 2004. Le résultat de cette consultation est un Code encore plus robuste et juste, qui constituera un outil efficace et pratique pour la lutte contre le dopage dans le sport.
Un exemplaire gratuit de la brochure du Code mondial antidopage révisé sera envoyé aux partenaires dans les semaines à venir. Des exemplaires supplémentaires peuvent être commandés en écrivant à l’adresse code@wada-ama.org . (Veuillez noter que les frais d’impression et d’envoi sont en sus.)
