TO ALL WAKO MEMBERS
Please find here below attached the final version of the updated WAKO Rules following a Board’s decision taken during the last meeting held on August 22nd. You can see all changes marked up in red in the document, among them please note “Article 2.2. Competitions” and the new “Article 4.5. Seminars”.
All national federations are kindly invited to forward these new WAKO Rules to all of their members, clubs, referents and official persons of the federation for their knowledge. Each national federation is also expected to translate the rules into its national language, so that the new rules are accessible and easier to understand for all members of the federation.
For your information by next WAKO President’s Newsletter the changes will be processed and explained one by one separately in detail, but in case of any further clarification a member may need on an article contained in the new rules please contact by e-mail Romeo Desa, WAKO Technical Director – technical.director@wako.sport
Please take note that this is the final version of the new WAKO Rules that will come into effect starting from 1st January, 2021 .
Only after longer application of these rules in practice, proposals for changes and improvements will be considered according to the procedure as explained in “Article 3.13. Rules changes procedure”.
We would also like to remind you that the updated Rules are available on WAKO website under “ New Rules ” section together with the related “ New Forms and Documents ”.
