Villach, a beautiful tiny town in Carinthia, one of the main regions of Austria, which will host our next World Championships in Light Contact, Low-Kick and K1 Rules from 19th to 25th October 2009.
Villach is situated in a perfect natural set full of mountains and parks, is a real perfect place for our event. People are friendly, the cuisine is very good, the natural and historical beauties of the small town will be appreciated by everybody without any doubt.
The sport-hall hosting the event is an old ice-hockey arena. It’s spacious and will grant a smooth run of our Championships.
Mr. Otmar Felsberger and Nikolaus Gstattner, leaders of the Austrian Kickboxing Federation promoting the WAKO Championships, are positive and they guarantee a memorable event.
