This year WAKO has the pleasure to participate to the 26th edition of SPORT MOVIES & TV 2008,the most important Worldwide Festival dedicated to sports television and movies, organized by Fédération Internationale Cinéma Télévision Sportifs, association with 102 member Countries – recognized by IOC (International Olympic Committee). The event will take place in Milan at Palazzo Giureconsulti, in Piazza Mercanti 2, from 31st october to 5th november 2008 and the entrance is free ; 6 days of sport, cinema and world-wide television: a moment of concrete promotion of the sport culture. And among different sports, for the first time during this international festival, kickboxing will be there too! For the occasion, in fact, the video “ WAKO-30 YEARS TOGETHER ” will be presented. It runs through the years 1977-2007 and tells about the birth of a new sport, the kickboxing of course, its developments and changes…A brief ride illustrating also the people who played a significant role in shaping a sport practised by millions today. After the presentation of the video there will be also a moment of discussion held by Mr Ennio Falsoni himself, President of WAKO, so everybody is invited to participate!
The video “WAKO-30 YEARS TOGETHER” will be presented on the 3rd of November at 6 pm at Palazzo Giureconsulti ( Sala Colonne ).
