WAKO expresses deepest condolences to those affected by the deadly earthquake in Turkiye and Syria, to the Turkiye Kickboxing Federation and to our vice president Salim Kayici.
“It is with great sadness that we have learnt of the tragic loss of life and devastation caused by the earthquake in Turkiye and Syria,” said President Roy Baker.
“Unfortunately, it was reported there are more than 23.000 people killed, and thousands of people who lost their loving ones, their homes.
Among them there are athletes, coaches from all sport communities.
We have learnt that the biggest need at the moment is for food, medicine and tents. I call all from WAKO family to help those impacted in the aftermath of the earthquakes, through dedicated channels”, said Baker.
