WAKO Guidelines for COVID-19 Prevention and Questionnaire

Please find herewith enclosed the WAKO Guidelines for COVID-19 Prevention and related Questionnaire as approved by the WAKO Board of Directors, which are in force since February 27th, 2021 .

This document presents general recommendations and protocols for the identification and management of health risk at Kickboxing Sports events present on the current WAKO IF Calendar , in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. Please note that stricter rules may be imposed by national/regional legislation; every organizer shall therefore ensure the compliance of COVID-19 safety protocols with said legislation.

This Safety Protocol is intended to offer guidance on the measures recommended to minimize the risks, wherever possible and practical, to the health of participants and entourage at such events in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. These recommendations and protocols are subject to revision depending on the evolution of the worldwide pandemic situation, they will remain in effect unless and until amended or withdrawn by the WAKO IF Board of Directors.
